Tokiia Data and Security Policy

At Tokiia, we understand the importance of privacy and security. As a decentralized wallet (DEX), we do not collect or store personal data or sensitive information about our users. Our mission is to provide you with full control over your funds, and you are solely responsible for your private keys and the 12 recovery words.
1. No Collection of Personal Data
At Tokiia, we do not collect or store personal information such as names, email addresses, or contact information. We also do not store private keys or 12 recovery words. All information related to your wallet and transactions is managed locally on your device.
2. Full User Control
- Private Keys: You are the only one who has access to your wallet's private keys. Tokiia does not store or manage your private keys at any time.
- Recovery Phrase (12 Recovery Words): The 12 recovery words generated when creating your wallet are stored locally on your device. It is your responsibility to keep them secure. If you lose them, Tokiia will not be able to recover them.
- User Responsibility: By using Tokiia, you understand that you are fully responsible for the security of your wallet. If you lose access to your private keys or recovery phrase, Tokiia cannot help you recover access to your funds.
3. Data Security
Although we do not store personal data or keys, we take steps to ensure that your experience is as secure as possible:
- Data Encryption: Transaction-related data and wallet interactions are encrypted to ensure confidentiality.
- Authentication: We recommend using additional security measures like two-factor authentication (2FA) and other technologies available on your device.
4. Use and Protection of 12 Recovery Words
The 12 recovery words are essential for accessing your wallet. It is your responsibility to:
- Keep the 12 recovery words safe. Never share them or store them in insecure locations.
- Do not enter them in unofficial websites or apps. Only the Tokiia wallet is the secure source to generate and access these words.
5. Decentralized Transactions
Transactions made through Tokiia are fully decentralized:
- We do not control your transactions: As a decentralized wallet, we cannot stop, modify, or recover any transaction once it has been made.
- Tokiia does not store any information about your transactions, as everything is managed locally on your device.
6. Changes to the Data and Security Policy
As a decentralized wallet, Tokiia does not change or collect user data. However, if significant changes are made to this policy, we will notify you through an in-app message.
